Kozimax Skin Lightening Cream
Kozimax skin lightening cream contains Glabridin in its purest form. It is indicated for hyperpigmentation/dark discolouration, age/sun spots, tans/sun damage, acne marks, birthmarks, dark elbows, knees, underarms, uneven skin tone and melasma.
Ingredients
Kojic Acid DiPalmitate- A lightening agent, Kojic acid’s primary use and benefit is to lighten visible sun damage, age spots, or scars successfully used to lighten and whiten skin discoloration and whiten dark spots giving a fairer, whiter and younger-looking skin.
Vitamin-C- Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, it is known to be the most common antioxidant found in human skin. It is critical in collagen and elastin synthesis. Antioxidants also prevent damage to our skin by neutralizing free radicals, which are generated by our bodies when exposed to certain conditions, including pollution and UV rays. As we age, we lose Vitamin C.
Glabridin- Glabridin is recognized as a safe and scientific whitening cosmetic ingredient. Glabridin can penetrate into the skin’s inner layer, and exert its high-efficiency whitening activity.
Arbutin- Arbutin can reduce the degree of skin darkening after sun exposure by blocking the production of tyrosinase.
Directions
Wash and dry skin, apply an even layer over the affected area twice daily. Massage thoroughly until the cream is absorbed completely into the skin. Apply once in the evening and once at night for the best results. Long term treatments with any product should be monitored by a medical professional.
What Is Skin Lightening?
Skin lightening, often known as skin bleaching, is a cosmetic technique used to lighten dark spots on the skin or to obtain a more even skin tone.
It’s typically used to conceal imperfections like birthmarks and dark areas (melasma).
Skin-lightening methods operate by lowering melanin concentrations or production in the skin. Melanin is a pigment that gives skin colour and protects it from the sun.
What Factors Influence Skin Color?
The quantity of melanin in the skin determines skin colour. Melanin is a pigment generated by melanocytes, which are specialised cells. Melanin levels are higher in those with darker skin.
The amount of melanin in your skin is determined mostly by your genetic makeup. Sunlight, hormones, skin injury, and chemical exposure can all have an impact on melanin formation.
Skin colour changes frequently resolve on their own. Tans, for example, disappear as the quantity of direct sunshine is reduced. However, certain discolorations, such as “age” or “liver” spots, become more or less permanent with time.
Risks of Skin Lightening Creams
The possible exposure to mercury is one of the most serious dangers of using some skin lightening cream. According to one research, roughly one out of every four skin lighteners manufactured in Asia and sold outside the United States included mercury.
Skin lightening creams may also provide additional dangers. Among these dangers are the following:
Prolonged usage might cause premature ageing of the skin.
Long-term usage may raise the risk of sun-induced skin cancer. When using a skin lightener and heading outside, always wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen.
Some skin lighteners contain steroids, which may increase the risk of skin infections, skin thinning, acne, and poor wound healing.
Applying steroids to large regions of skin may put you at risk for health issues caused by steroid absorption.
Hydroquinone may induce unwelcome and irreversible skin darkening (ochronosis).
Various bleaching methods, including natural substances, might irritate or trigger allergic reactions in the skin.
